Description:

This course deals in addictions and how they affect individuals on personal, social and relational levels. Students will be exposed to introductory methods on how to counsel those who suffer from addictions as well as how to identify cases which will need to be referred to a psychiatric professional.

• “Freedom from Addictions,” Neil Anderson, Mike Quarels and Julia Quarels
   
• "Addictions: A Banquet in the Grave,” Edward T. Welsh
