Course Description:

To give the student a better understanding of leadership and its role within the local church.

Course Outline:

• Continuing with the 7 growth points of any organization as described in the Leadership Challenge 1 Course, this course will focus on leadership in the local church and, in particular, its role in the development of organizational systems.
• There are three basic elements that make a game worth playing: the object of the game, the rules of the game, and how to keep score. Building off of this concept, we will offer leaders a way to organize congregations for success by creating structure and systems that enable church life and health.
• We will discuss systems, culture, as well as the role of the board, the pastor, the staff, and the congregation.
