Course Description: Stress is everywhere and in many ways, it’s unavoidable. Learning to deal with stress appropriately is a skill that many people lack. Stress manifests in many ways in our bodies, our emotions, and our behaviors. Some of the topics covered include: The definition of stress; the sources of stress; The Physiology of Stress; The Theology of Stress; and The Psychology of Stress. The focus is on giving counsellors tools to help measure stress and techniques to help clients deal with stress more effectively.
